Lonely Planet voted this campsite as Tops in Chobe.This well-run, unfenced paradise is located just off the Nata Kazungula road in the Lesoma Valley, 10 km outside Kasane and right in the Elephant Corridor between Botswana and Zimbabwe.
Senyati consists of 19 campsites, with private ablutions, each equipped with an electric point, private shower, own toilet and separate cooking area. The 8 self-catering, fully equipped chalets have air conditioners in the bed rooms. A lovely pool with a shallow area for kids are located to the back of the premises.
Senyati centres around a 24/7 lit waterhole with a great variety of animals. In the dry, winter months buffalo herds easily exceed 300 in number and as many 400 elephants can visit on a single day. During rainy season the Camp changes into a birdwatchers’ paradise with more than 300 species recorded.
Senyati offers an excellent basecamp for day trips to Chobe National Park. Victoria Falls day trips, Safari Drives, Chobe Boat Cruises and Tiger Fishing are booked at reception. Wood, meat, firelighters and other necessities are sold in the small shop at reception. Cash only, Botswana Pula, USD, Euro and South African Rands are accepted.

Senyati can be accessed by 4x4 only from the big Senyati sign on the Nata-Kazungula Road, and 2x4 access is through an alternative route via Lesoma Village.
Senyati- Situated in the Lesoma Valley, Northern Botswana, 20km from Kasane. It forms a perfect base for trips to the Vic Falls, Chobe National Park and sunset trips on the Chobe River.
