Namaqualand is famous for flowers in flower season, hiking in the Gifberg, coastal fishing and crayfish diving, old copper mine smokestack in Okiep, abundance of spring flowers ±4 000 species and the Namaqua National Park.
The region includes the towns of Doringbaai, Strandfontein, Ebenhaezer, Papendorp, Lutzville, Vredendal, Klawer, Vanrhynsdorp, Nuwerus, Bitterfontein, Kliprand, Rietpoort, Putsekloof, Molsvlei and Stofkraal. Namaqua West Coast boasts a wonderful destination from which to explore the Southern Namaqualand.
